Country Club Road Bridge Replacement Project - Public Involvement Information

Project Description
The State Route (SR) 7401, also known as Country Club Road, Section BRG bridge
replacement project over Unnamed Tributary (UNT) to Beaver Creek is located in Abbottstown
Borough, Adams County. The purpose of this project is to replace the existing deteriorated
structure with a safe, efficient crossing while also repairing the degraded roadway to ensure a
safer corridor for the traveling public.
The project consists of the replacement of the existing bridge and realigning Country Club Road
to enhance safety and functionality. It includes guide rail upgrades, drainage improvements, and
scour protection, as well as fully reconstructing the pavement section. The proposed structure
will widen Country Club Road to accommodate two 10-foot lanes with 2-foot shoulders. Please
